ICL – Indian Combat League (TM)

ICL Indian Combat League is the official amateur and professional combat sports and mixed martial arts (MMA) event recognized under the National Martial Arts Committee India (NMAC India).

Sanctioned by the International Association of Combative Sports (IACS), ICL serves as a national platform for promoting and organizing high-standard combat sports competitions, including MMA, Kickboxing, Grappling, and other combative disciplines.

Since October 2019, ICL Indian Combat League has been officially trademark registered under the Trademark Act of the Government of India, ensuring its identity and exclusive rights in promoting combat sports across the nation.

ICL’s mission is to develop, regulate, and elevate combat sports in India by offering structured, safe, and professionally managed events for both amateur and professional athletes.

ICL Indian Combat League, since its inception, has successfully conducted 8 action-packed seasons, bringing together top amateur and professional fighters from across India and internationally. 🔵 Indian Combat League (ICL) Season 1

·        Date: 28th November 2021

·        Location: Malakpur Sports Stadium, Greater Noida, UP

·        Participants: 100 fighters from 14 states

·        Highlights: The inaugural season introduced ICL’s professional format, generating nationwide interest in MMA and combat sports.

🔵 Indian Combat League (ICL) Season 2

·        Date: 16–17 July 2022

·        Location: CCS University, Meerut, UP

·        Participants: 120 fighters from 15 states

·        Highlights: Expanded participation and enhanced organizational standards, including certified referees and professional scoring systems.

🔵 Indian Combat League (ICL) Season 3

·        Date: 13–15 December 2022

·        Location: Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi

·        Participants: 150 fighters from 18 states

·        Highlights: Introduction of multiple combat disciplines including Kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and traditional martial arts.

·        Date: 19–20 August 2023

·        Location: Parade Ground, Dehradun, Uttarakhand

·        Participants: 180 fighters from 20 states

·        Highlights: Increased national visibility; high-quality broadcast and professional-level competition.

🔵 Indian Combat League (ICL) Season 5

·        Date: 2–3 December 2023

·        Location: KD Jadhav Hall, Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, New Delhi

·        Participants: 160 fighters from 18 state teams

·        Highlights: Focus on inter-state rivalry and team-based competitions; seminars for emerging athletes.
